What is ADDA Gatekeeper?
ADDA Gatekeeper is a visitor and gate management app used by security teams and front-desk staff in residential communities and rental buildings across the UAE. It replaces the paper visitor register with a digital log — every visitor, delivery, contractor and domestic staff entry is recorded with a time stamp and can be searched later.
Can visitors check in using an Emirates ID?
Yes. The guard scans the visitor's Emirates ID and their details are captured automatically, so entry is faster and the record is accurate regardless of which guard is on shift.
Is Gatekeeper sold separately from ADDA?
Yes. Though Gatekeeper comes integrated with both ADDA Community Manager and ADDA Rental Manager, it is a separate product and has its own pricing. It has its own deployment and support. This product can also be implemented independently from ADDA Community Manager and ADDA Rental Manager products.
Can residents approve visitors before they arrive?
Yes. Residents add expected visitors from the ADDA app, including recurring invites for regular visitors such as tutors, drivers or family. The guest receives a private access code and the guard sees the visit already approved.
How does Gatekeeper handle domestic staff?
Domestic staff are registered once. Daily check-in and check-out takes seconds, and residents can see arrival and departure times for their own staff on the app.
Does Gatekeeper work with biometric attendance devices?
Yes. Gatekeeper integrates with biometric devices used for community staff attendance, so guard, housekeeping and technician attendance is recorded digitally and available to the management office.
How quickly can we retrieve a visitor record for an investigation?
Visitor records are searchable by date, unit, visitor name or vehicle. What takes hours of page-flipping with a paper register takes a few seconds in Gatekeeper.
Where is the visitor data stored?
ADDA hosts UAE customer data in the UAE and is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified. Access to visitor records is controlled by role within your ADDA account.
