Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar browser technologies are used on this website, which of them are strictly necessary, which are optional, and how you can control them at any time.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include browser storage mechanisms such as localStorage, which allow a website to keep small pieces of information in your browser. They can be set by this website (first-party) or by a third-party service used on the website.

2. Necessary technologies

These are required for the website to work and are always active. They cannot be switched off through the preference panel.

  • Cookie consent preference storage — records your cookie choice in your browser so we do not ask again on every page.
  • Embedded contact form functionality — our contact form is provided by HubSpot and requires its embed script to display and submit the form.
  • Security and anti-spam functionality — the form uses reCAPTCHA Enterprise for spam and abuse protection. HubSpot's infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) may also set a bot-management cookie (__cf_bm) where required.
  • Navigation and interface state — small values such as navigation origin state and interface preferences that keep the site behaving correctly.
  • Necessary error reporting — technical information used to detect and fix website errors.

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts purely to render typography. They are not used for analytics or advertising.

3. Analytics & Marketing technologies

These are optional and are off by default. Nothing in this category is loaded or stored until you give consent.

  • Google Analytics — measures how visitors find and use the website (pages viewed, referrers, approximate location, device and browser information). It sets first-party cookies in your browser, typically named _ga and _ga_*.
  • Google advertising and campaign linker functionality — where applicable, the Google Analytics implementation may set campaign/advertising attribution values such as _gcl_aw (cookie) and _gcl_ls (browser storage), so that visits originating from advertising campaigns can be attributed correctly.
  • Our own campaign attribution storage — when you arrive from a campaign link, we store the campaign parameters (UTM source, medium, campaign, term and content) in your browser's localStorage under adda_utm_params, so that an enquiry can be attributed to the campaign that brought you here. This is only written after you consent.

4. HubSpot embedded forms

Our contact form is embedded from HubSpot, which acts as the form and CRM provider for enquiries you choose to submit. We do not run HubSpot's website analytics/visitor-tracking script on this site. The form remains available whether or not you accept optional cookies, because it is a functional part of the website.

5. How your choices work

  • Accept All — grants Analytics & Marketing. Google's consent signals for analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are updated to granted, Google Analytics is then loaded, and campaign attribution storage becomes active immediately (no page refresh needed).
  • Reject Optional — only necessary technologies are used. Google Analytics is never loaded, no analytics cookies are created, and no campaign attribution is stored. The website continues to work normally.
  • Manage Preferences — lets you turn Analytics & Marketing on or off individually and save your choice.

6. Withdrawing or changing your consent

You can change your mind at any time using the link in the website footer. If you switch Analytics & Marketing off after previously accepting it, your choice is saved immediately, Google's consent signals are set back to denied, Google Analytics is prevented from loading again, and the analytics and campaign attribution values that are accessible to this website are cleared from your browser. You can also delete cookies and site data directly in your browser settings.

7. Third-party service providers

The third-party providers referenced in this policy are Google (Google Analytics and Google Fonts, and reCAPTCHA for form security), HubSpot (embedded contact forms) and HubSpot's infrastructure provider Cloudflare (bot management for the form). Their own terms and privacy notices apply to the processing they carry out.

8. Updates to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when the technologies used on the website change. Where the change affects the categories you consented to, you may be asked for your preferences again.
